Grabar State Research Center hosts an exhibition
"Female images in the graphics of Russian artists"dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the restoration workshop of graphics, rare books and documents on paper.
The exhibition presents works from 13 Russian museums that have been restored within the walls of the VHNRTs.
The exhibition illustrates how much the female image has changed under the influence of reforms in society, politics and culture on the example of works by such famous artists as I. Repin, Z. Serebryakova, V. Borisov – Musatov, N. Feshin, R. Falk, A. Rodchenko , A. Deineka, A. I. Laktionov.
Visitors see a gallery of bright and diverse female images - like portraits of famous girls from the last quarter of the 20th century. or images of the beauties of the Silver Age and of Soviet workers. The program with elements of augmented reality Artifact will allow you to see the objects before the restoration and learn more about the methods of restoring and preserving the exhibits on paper, as well as tell you about the fate of the great women who changed history.
