A place under the sun. Benkov / Feshin

Museum of Russian impressionism holds an exhibition "A place under the sun. Benkov / Feshin ".

The project, representing the audience the work of two talented painters, is attended by the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Museum of Oriental Art, the Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts (NIMRAH), as well as 10 private collectors.

The exhibition is divided into three time blocks: the pre-revolutionary period, the American period of Nikolai Feshin and the Uzbek period of Pavel Benkov. East will meet with the West. The spring acacias of Samarkand will be close to the noisy waves of the Californian coast. The eastern bazaars and minarets of old Bukhara are next to rich still lifes and genre scenes in New York apartments.
