The King of Beasts: A Study of the African Lion by John Banovich

This exhibition presents paintings by famous artist John Banovich, as well as historical works dating from the 15th to 20th centuries by world-famous artists such as Durer, Rembrandt and Stubbs. All of them are dedicated to the image of an unusual African lion. An internationally recognized artist who has studied lions for decades, Banovich has created a number of works that are also a tribute to these animals. AT "King of beasts"more than forty works of art are presented in which questions of deep fear, love and admiration of humanity by these creatures are considered. The exhibition covers almost twenty-five years of work and is a collection of his works dedicated to African lions.
