St. Petersburg State Museum-Institute of the Roerichs presents an exhibition
"In the paths of N. K. Roerich. Pskov Necklace".
The exhibition presents paintings dedicated to special places of the Pskov land: Snetogorye, Izborsk, Pechory, Videlebyu, Meletovo, Porkhov, Senno. On the map, they lie in a semicircle under Pskov, folding, like bright gems, into a necklace.
In the years 1903–1904, Nikolai Roerich, together with his wife, visited these places, capturing ancient monuments in historical landscapes.
A century later, AK Krylov and his students and collaborators took on the same task.
Alexander Konstantinovich Krylov - Honored Artist of Russia, Professor of the St. Petersburg State Institute of Railway Engineering named after I. Ye. Repin, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, laureate of the International Prize of Nicholas Roerich, participant of domestic and foreign exhibitions.
