Tomsk Regional Art Museum presents the exhibition
"Apocrypha" Novosibirsk artist Vadim Ivankin.
Ivankin Vadim Viktorovich (1961) - painter, watercolourist. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2007), member of the Russian Academy of Arts (2018), Academician of the Chinese-Russian Academy of Fine Arts (2016), Professor (2008), Honorary Professor of the Kyrgyz State University of Culture and Arts. B. Beishenalieva (2013).
At the exhibition, visitors can see about sixty paintings and drawings made in different years. The work of the Novosibirsk artist is associated primarily with the biblical theme, which is the basis of a series of works: “Revelation”, “Midnight World”, “Front Book”. Russian iconography, the main iconographic plots became the mirror in which Vadim Viktorovich sees his art. Christian motifs are intertwined with real human passions and thoughts.
