The Moscow House of Nationalities will host an exhibition of paintings and graphics by Anatoly Rybkin, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, People’s Artist of Chuvashia, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts
"Preserved memory ...".
Presented in the exhibition canvases and drawings of the artist devoted to the 70th anniversary of the author.
The exhibition "Preserved Memory ..." is a story about native land and its people. Chuvashia is the home and center of the artist's emotional attraction. With him, he seems to measure everything he has seen in many countries, subtly felt by the Russian soul. Author's landscapes with lop-sided log barns, overgrown with grass or snow, roofs of buildings adjoined to each other, still lifes with simple, preserving the memory of the past, things from the home house are filled with special meaning. All this is fixed in the image of memories of past life, guides to a different space and time, revived childhood memories, combining a specific beginning and a universal generalization. Portraits of Anatoly Rybkin are notable for the lack of verbiage. In his works, everything is focused on the main character, interesting in his inner world, which the artist carefully reveals to us. His works, created as a result of foreign trips, are characterized by a sense of belongingness of life, culture of different nations. The artist is constantly looking for new motives, touches the unknown and seeks to share this with others.
