Gallery of European and American Art of the XIX – XX Centuries. The Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. This summer Pushkin had the opportunity to temporarily push the chronological framework of his collection and call himself a gallery of the XIX – XXI centuries, since he was hosting the exhibition

The exhibition includes landmark works by Alberto Giacometti, Yves Klein, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Gerhard Richter, Sigmar Polke, Christian Boltanski, Marina Abramovich, Maurizio Cattelan, Andreas Gursky and other famous artists. The exhibition includes 65 works of authors from 20 countries. Among the presented - painting, sculpture, photography, lighting and video installations.
The exhibition will cover the entire space of the Art Gallery of Europe and America of the 19th – 20th centuries and will be one of the largest shows of the collection outside Paris since the opening of the Foundation. All works are exhibited in Russia for the first time. And of course, the exhibition cannot do without the main work of the Louis Vuitton Foundation, without its building in the Bois de Boulogne Forest. Photo documentation will be shown about a building covered with sails built in 2014 by Frank Gehry, the inventor of architecture deconstructivism.
