Anna Atoyan. Escape from Eden
Exhibition June 25 − July 21, 2019
In Lviv Art Gallery Gary Bowman held a personal exhibition of Anna Atoyan "Escape from Eden". The artist draws her inspiration for creativity from everyday situations, from communication, from ordinary things. The presented works reflect the idea-fantasy of the garden of living sculptures, where ancient characters have the freedom to choose. White heroes do not seem perfect, real people shine with the moon shine of marble and alabaster, and the gods live human life. Works become personalities free from creators or are given to them completely and remain in a heavenly place.
Anna Atoyan - Lviv artist of Armenian origin. She depicts still lifes, portraits, transforms her life impressions into artistic canvases in an unconventional way - she draws on silk and uses hot batik. Born in 1967 in Lviv. She graduated from the Lviv Academy of Arts. Works are in private collections in Ukraine and abroad. She took part in exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad.
