Art Museum of Philadelphia presents the exhibition "
Herbert Ferber: Space Form".
In the 1940s, inspired by surrealism, the artist began to create more and more abstract works consisting of energetic flourishes and intertwining forms, like lines of bold calligraphy. This exhibition demonstrates the sculptures of Ferber and related drawings of the mid-twentieth century, offering viewers a look at this unique and innovative mind of the artist when he struggled with space and form.
