Latif Kazbekov is a very famous figure in the cultural space. Painter, master of easel graphics, watercolors and lithography, he is also considered one of the most popular illustrators of children's books. He has numerous exhibitions - personal and more than 300 group exhibitions in Russia and abroad. The works of the author are kept in the State Russian Museum, MISP, the Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art, and others. For many years, the artist has not only worked on illustrations, but also works with author paper. With the help of a special press, from raw cotton or linen, Kazbekov independently pours paper. Each sheet in itself becomes a unique craftwork - ingredients: glue, starch, etc. the artist mixes and adds conditionally. As a result, each sheet acquires a certain density and color, demanding a new approach and new artistic techniques. Dense environmentally friendly paper endures numerous flushing of watercolor, scratching the paint layer, generating amazing effects.
