The Ernst Neizvestny Art Museum holds an exhibition of works by the national artist of the Russian Federation, academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Vitaliy Mikhailovich Volovich "Old Yekaterinburg".

The exhibition presents original graphic drawings of different periods from the series “Old Yekaterinburg”, as well as photographs of the life and work of the master from the artist’s family archive.

Vitaly Volovich painted a lot of Sverdlovsk-Yekaterinburg, which he perceived as a "complex organism." Each house was lively, inspired for him: “I am interested not so much in a particular house, but in the state that I experienced while painting. There is such a phrase: to draw is to love. I love this city, ”the artist admitted.
