Marina Shkarupa and Igor Prokofiev. Silence

Kiev galleries Triptych: Global Arts Workshop and Kyiv Gallery Weekend present a new picturesque project by Marina Shkarupa and Igor Prokofiev "Silence". Marina develops space, and Igor explores icy landscapes. Together they discover new worlds outside of time and space.


Marina Shkarupa was born in 1965 in the Astrakhan region. She graduated from the Akhtubinsk art school and the Astrakhan art school. Member of numerous projects in Ukraine and abroad. The artist's works are in the collections of the Pärn Museum of Modern Art, the Abu Dhabi Art Hub International Art Center and in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Spain, Australia.

Igor Prokofiev is a modern Ukrainian postmodern artist who works mainly in painting. Born in 1960 in the Volyn region. Graduated from Kiev State Art Institute. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1992. He conducts active exhibition activities in Ukraine and abroad: in Poland, Estonia, Great Britain, Germany, Iran, and the USA. The author's works are in the funds of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, Russia, Bavaria, the National Museum of the History of Ukraine, the Museum of the History of Kiev, the Museum of Ukrainian Art in New York, as well as private collections in various countries.
