Kharkiv Gallery of Contemporary Art AS presents a personal exhibition of Vladimir Shaposhnikov "Heritage".
The exposition includes a part of the author’s creative heritage provided by the artist’s family. In pictorial and graphic works, originality of thinking, expressiveness of visual techniques are manifested. The master expressed in his paintings his vision of what is happening. The field of creative experiments of the artist became a pictorial and graphic practice. The style of his work is the bearer of a kind of “Kharkov dialect”.
Vladimir Shaposhnikov was born in 1949 in Kharkov. He graduated from the Kharkov Civil Engineering Institute. He worked as an architect at the Ukrgorstroyproekt Institute. Member of numerous exhibitions. Died in 2017.
