ThisExhibition will present Auguste Rodin as a radical artist who rebelled against sculptural traditions and invented new ways of creating sculpture.
The exposition will provide a unique opportunity to look at the processes of Rodin, emphasizing the decisive role of gypsum in his work. Visitors will be able to wander around the exhibition, which will cause an informal atmosphere of the studio, discovering little-known works and new aspects of Rodin's masterpieces.
The realization of this significant exhibition is possible thanks to a unique collaboration with the Rodin Museum, which offered Tate unprecedented access to its collection. It presents more than 150 works, many of which have not been seen before outside France.
