After monographs on Marcel Duchamp, Rene Magritte, Andre Derain and Henri Matisse, the Pompidou Center continues to review the main works of the 20th century and devotes an extensive exhibition to Francis Bacon.
The last major French exhibition of this artist was held in 1996 at the Center Pompidou. Over twenty years later, a retrospective exhibition "Bacon In all letters", which in a new way explores the influence of literature on the painting of Francis Bacon.
