"Bad earth, but the heroic"

Teuta, the pirate Queen of Illyria that ruled the land of what is now Montenegro, after the death of her husband Agron in the year 230 BC. It is under the rule applied fierce and pirate tactics against its neighbors that it significantly helped to expand the territory. According to legend, Teuta was thrown the chain and arrow through Verige to block access to the inner bays of Kotor. Later she said people drowned in the Bay, and not subject to the Romans. Her spirit is still calling from the depths: Queen Teuta of Illyria, the godmother of two tisazalay Adriatic pirates.
