Donation by Hans Rudolf Gerstenmeyer

Among recentdonations paintingsof the nineteenth century to the Prado Museum, the collection of Hans Rudolf Gerstenmeyer is unique not only in number, eleven works, but also in concentration in art of the last years of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Thanks to this donation, the Prado Museum includes artists such as Aureliano De Beerou, Dario de Rogoyos, Joaquin Sorolla, Ignacio Zuloaga, Ermenehildo Anglada Camaras and other Spanish artists who enrich the collection of Spanish painting.
