Eduard Kolody. Wandering plots

Exhibition 6 − September 25, 2019
In Kiev, “Karas Gallery” presents an exhibition of surrealist artist Eduard Kolodiy “Wandering plots". The author’s works are multi-figure compositions with inner drama and tension in an indefinite place and time. The depicted world is both real and conditional.

“In my case,” the artist says, “not only the plots, but also the heroes are wandering. Academic sitters of the past, like modern fashion models, are funny abandoned characters who roam the world. They remind me of actors who have successfully completed the casting, but have not played their part. And so I place them among certain sets, and then I play with them one of the eternal stories, giving them a second life. ”

Eduard Kolody is a painter, graphic artist, author of performances and video installations. Born in Mariupol in 1970. He graduated from Odessa State Art College. M. Grekova. Member of numerous exhibitions.
