Dreams of antiquity

Exhibition August 22 − September 29, 2019
Russian Academy of Arts in the exhibition hall of the Museum of A.N. Tolstoy holds an exhibition of Belarusian graphic artist Yuri Yakovenko"Dreams of Antiquity".

The exhibition includes more than thirty works by the author, created over the past five years.

The exhibited works clearly demonstrate the process of formation and development of the refined visual language of an outstanding artist and immerse the audience in the sophisticated world of his surrealistic plots. The diverse plastic language of the master of traditional etching will force the viewer to peer into the works, and the beauty of the performance, the saturation with subtle allegorical subtexts, will make the work understandable and close to all who value the past and at the same time feel the nerve of modernity in art.
