In the light. Art glass of the Soviet and post-Soviet eras

The All-Russian Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art presents a large-scale retrospective exhibition project“To the light. Art glass of the Soviet and post-Soviet eras "dedicated to art glass of the XX-XXI centuries from the museum collection.

The exhibition brings together about 400 works of art glass, many of which have not previously been exhibited and will be shown for the first time.

The exhibition will feature legends: “Wind” by Vera Mukhina, “Glassblowers” by Boris Smirnov, “Tsar's Picnic” by Ivan Machnev, “Fern” by Leida Jurgen, “Splash of the Wave” by Adolf Kurilov, “Sokolniki” by Lyubov Savelyeva, “Gulliver's Journey” Fidail Ibragimov, “Symbol” by Sergei Travnikov, “Rain” by Julia Merzlikina and others.

The collection of art glass of the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Arts is one of the largest and has about 4000 exhibits. The aim of the project is to demonstrate the magnificent results of an artistic search and creative experiment in this amazing art form.
