Hara Museum in Tokyo presents a solo exhibition "
Izumi Kato. Like a rolling snowball". The exhibition includes 69 works by the author, created recently. Anonymous silhouettes and strange faces with almost no features are enhanced by simple shapes and vibrant colors. The master paints surrealistic paintings with his fingers. Emphasizing the ambiguity of his works, he leaves them untitled.
Izumi Kato was born in 1969 in Shiman, Japan. He graduated from the faculty of oil painting at the University of Musashino. The innovative artist participates in exhibitions in Japan and around the world. Lives and works in Tokyo.
