The Museum of the History of Kiev hosts an exhibition by Sergei Popov "Shine". The presented series of works is a crossroads of abstraction and symbolism, avant-garde and modern, small and large paintings.
“Each picture is a search result. One of ten works of the cycle was included in the Light series. That is, only those that exactly correspond to the main idea are to figuratively depict the energy of light. And it seems to me that it was possible, ”says the artist.
Sergey Popov (1967) - a modern artist and painter. He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute. The author’s paintings are kept in the Gallery of Modern Art of France (Louvre Museum) and the USA (Alexander Kretschmar Gallery of Modern Art), in private collections in Ukraine, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, New Zealand and Russia.
