In honor of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Joseph Ignas Mildorfer (1719-1775), the Belvedere is organizing an exhibition of his works, which will be held in the fall of 2019.
Exhibitionfocuses on three key aspects of Mildorfer’s artistic work: his rare battle scenes, his role as a professor of painting at the Vienna Academy of Arts and his work for the clergy, aristocracy and the bourgeoisie.
