Bruegel. Originals

Exhibition September 16, 2019 − September 15, 2020
On the occasion of the 450th anniversary of the death of Peter Brueghel the Elder, the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium present the Bruegel. Originals exhibition.

Bruegel's artistic career was short - he died at about 40 years old. Today, only about forty of his paintings have been preserved, which makes them extremely rare and valuable.

The Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium holds the second largest collection of Brueghel the Elder paintings in the world.
