The Russian Academy of Arts in the halls of the Voronezh Art College presentsexhibition of works by Oleg Savostyuk.
The exhibition presents paintings by the artist created in 2017 - 2019.
Oleg Mikhailovich Savostyuk - People's Artist of the Russian Federation, academician, member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts, holder of many titles, regalia and awards. The creative energy and potential of this creator is incomprehensible. Especially when you consider that the artist was born on December 30, 1927. The recent works of the master amaze with their expression and artistic temperament.
According to the author, he walked for a long time to the topic of Christ and Christianity, thought, searched, doubted whether there was anything to say to the world. The artist is convinced that biblical history is not antiquity, it is happening here and now. That is why the attributes of 2000 years ago and the present are intentionally mixed on the canvases. Everyone faces a choice and decides for himself - who he is, with whom he is, why he lives, what trace he will leave on earth.
