Rostov Regional Museum of Fine Arts (ROMII) holdspersonal exhibition of Vasily Alexandrovich Shekhovtsovdedicated to the seventieth anniversary of the author.
The exposition presents a rich collection of paintings by the artist.
Vasily Alexandrovich Shekhovtsov is a participant in numerous exhibition projects in Russia and abroad. The storytelling style of the master is distinguished by restrained and muted colors, giving freedom for reflection and dialogue with the depicted model, for a longer contemplation of poetic manifestations in the natural environment of a person. “In every work he seeks a new emotional key. In his works you will not find two identical works, where the same coloristic or artistic technique would be used, everywhere there is a task ... ”, says art critic Valery Ryazanov about the painting of Vasily Shekhovtsov.
