Eduard Yashin. Charcoal stick

In Kharkov, by the twenty-third anniversary of the Municipal Gallery, an exhibition of Eduard Yashin's “Charcoal stick” is taking place. The exhibition includes new works by the artist. The author’s favorite technique in plain black coal on paper is now transferred to the canvas in a new sound. Old architectural motifs and a new theme echo here - floristry, inspired by your favorite photographers Karl Blossfeldt and Robert Mapplethorpe, as well as drawings by old masters.

Eduard Yashin was born in 1960 in Simferopol. He graduated from the Crimean Art College and the Kharkov Art and Industrial Institute. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. The author’s works are in galleries and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Italy, Greece, Czech Republic, Canada. USA, at the Museum of Modern Art (New York, USA).
