Shokan Toles. Bronze Symphony
Exhibition December 11, 2019 − January 12, 2020
The State Museum of Art of Kazakhstan named after A. Kasteev presents a personal exhibition of Kazakhstan sculptor Shokan Tolesh "Bronze Symphony», Dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the master. The exposition includes more than 70 works by the author. The compositions are made in bronze, marble, wood and glass. The sculptures are a complex plastic formula and intrigue for their understatement, lyrical penetration and expressiveness of plastic expression.
The sculptor's works are in state museums in Almaty and Nur Sultan, private collections and galleries in Kazakhstan, the USA, France, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, the Principality of Liechtenstein, Great Britain, Austria, Egypt, Turkey, Russia, Singapore and Tatarstan. The monuments created by the master are installed in Almaty and many other regions of Kazakhstan.
