The exhibition features photographs by Dmitry Sirotkin. One of the main exhibits of the exhibition is the photo album "Winterreise. Sentimental Suite".
“Winterreise” is a “Winter Journey” to Petersburg to the music of Schubert and falling snow. In his work, Dmitry Sirotkin addresses the eternal theme of being. The photographs presented at the exhibition are the artist’s view of the world, numb from the cold, in which a person is doomed to loneliness and emptiness. The embankments and squares wandering aimlessly in the unsteady hassle, the inhabitants of a foggy and snowy city hurrying to where they are immersed in contemplation. They were lost in space and time, becoming prisoners of the St. Petersburg phantasmagoria.
