Exhibition December 3, 2019 − January 14, 2020
Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art and pop / off / art Gallery present the first solo exhibition of Belgian artist Rick de Bou in Russia“Beware of open windows”.
The exhibition includes more than fifty graphic sheets of the author from several cycles of recent years.
Rick de Bois visited many museums and art centers, focusing on aesthetically close works of the Russian avant-garde. The exhibition also tells about the proximity of the Russian and European avant-garde, about its museum contexts that have arisen over a century, and is a kind of homage to the contemporary artist to his beloved authors, including Kazimir Malevich and Mikhail Matyushin.
