Not everyone knows that there is a conservation studio in the attic of Mauritshuis. To ensure that the collection remains in excellent condition, a team of conservatives devotes their time to conservation, restoration and research.
In 2020, it will be exactly 25 years since the studio was installed in the attic. A good time to consider the most intriguing restorations of the last twenty years, including paintings by Rembrandt, Vermeer, Hals, Wall and Rubens, as well as some lesser-known artists such as Cornelis de Hem and Jacob Ochtervelt.
