The new Carlsberg glyptotek possesses one of the world's best collections of works by the French artist Paul Gauguin (1848-1903).
In September 2020, the museum opens a major exhibition "Paul Gauguin"based on its own collection, together with the work of international museums and art institutions.
The exhibition presents Gauguin's works in a new light, combining international contemporary art, historical paintings and a modern perception of the myths surrounding one of France's most iconic artists.
