The State Tretyakov Gallery presents a large exhibition project
“Unknown wanderers. Drawing of the second half of the XIX century ".
The exposition covers the period from 1871 to the mid-1910s and includes more than 250 graphic works from the collection of the Tretyakov Gallery: sketches, sketches, drawings, preparatory work for paintings and original replicas of paintings made for reproduction and commissioned by collectors.
At the exhibition, famous and well-known painters (Ilya Repin, Vasily Surikov, Valentin Serov, Ivan Kramskoy, Ivan Shishkin, Vasily Polenov and others) appear completely different - unusual and, without exaggeration, new artists.
