Albert Edelfelt and the Romanovs

Exhibition "Albert Edelfelt and the Romanovs"is dedicated to the lesser-known works of the artist Albert Edelfelt related to the Russian imperial family.

In the center is a portrait of the nephews of Alexander III, the Grand Dukes Boris and Kirill Vladimirov in childhood (1881) from the collection of the Rybinsk Art Museum. This painting, long considered lost, is first shown in Finland.

Also at the exhibition are other captivating portraits of children from the Romanov family. The exposition contains oil paintings, sketches and letters of the artist.
