Yekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts hosts a large-scale exhibition
“Gifts of friendship. Graphics from the collection of the Helmet Foundation in the collection of the EMII.
The exposition combines about 150 sheets of printed and original graphics by artists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Tagil and will present a retrospective of graphic art of the 1950s-2000s in the dynamics of the creative processes taking place in it.
The Slam Foundation Gallery of Graphic Arts was founded in May 2007 by three like-minded people: collector and art critic Viktor Malinov, artist Oleg Karpenko and businessman Vladimir Titov. The activities of the fund are aimed at creating a representative graphic collection that can fully reflect the creative searches of a number of prominent authors of the XX-XXI centuries. In the process of establishing contacts with artists, collectors managed to lay the foundation for their rapidly growing collection. “Friendship Gifts” is a large-scale project by which the founders of the fund would like to summarize their collecting activities, which symbolically ended with the donation of more than 900 items to the Yekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts.
