Tastes of Maria Leshchinsky

Maria Leshchinsky - Queen of France, wife of King Louis XV. The daughter of the former king of Poland and the Grand Duke of Lithuania Stanislav Leshchinsky and Catherine of Opalins.

During her 42 years at Versailles, Maria Leshchinsky greatly influenced the layout of the castle, as well as the artistic life of her time.

Exhibition "Tastes of Maria Leshchinsky“brings together about fifty works of art, mainly from the Chateau collections, including several recent acquisitions of great importance to the National Museum of Castles of Versailles and Trianon. The exhibition illustrates the development of the Queen’s personal taste throughout his reign.
