Exhibition March 3 − June 21, 2020
Exhibition "Art of death"Stems from the collaboration of the museum with the" Art of Death. Project ”sponsored by the MU Honor's College Scholarship Program for the Arts in Social Sciences and Humanities (ASH) and the Bureau of Student Studies.
This program attracts undergraduate students to assist in studies studying the reaction of viewers to images of death in art. Like research by ASH scholars, the museum’s exhibition includes topics such as funerals, personifications of death, suicide and martyrdom.
These themes are represented by various 2D environments, in addition to antiquities associated with the funeral and religious aspects of death.
Artists at the exhibition: Francis Lagrange, Francisco Goya, Andrea Boscoli, Joseph Heinz Jr. and others.
