Gothic art of Hungary 1300-1500

Hungarian National Gallery presents the exhibition "Gothic art of Hungary of the 1300s - 1500s.".

Visitors will get acquainted with a unique collection of religious paintings, wooden sculptures, Gothic altars and church interior items.

Gothic paintings on wood, wooden statues and “winged” altars recreate the atmosphere and atmosphere of medieval churches, help emotional immersion in the history of religious rites. The jewel of the collection isMaria Gravida (Madonna of Nemethuyvar)1410 years of an unknown author.
