Ateneum Art Museum presents a large-scale exhibition
"The history of Finnish art from 1809 to the present day".
The exposition presents examples of classical and modern art: painting, graphics, sculpture. Among the exhibits of the exhibition are such famous works as Le Corbusier “Two Women” (1939), Eero Yarnefelt “Arson” (1893) and Edward Munch “Bathing Man” (1907–1908), Vincent van Gogh “Street in Auvers-sur-Oise "(1890). Modern authors have provided their works - Anitra Lucander, Unto Pusa, Ulla Rantanen, Anita Snellman and Sam Vanni.
At the exhibition you can see works that have not been exhibited for many years. Finnish art is presented in the context of the world history of fine art and global events of the XIX-XX centuries.
