Boris Ryauzov and his time. Coast of life

The exhibition "Shores of Life" is the second part of the exhibition series "Boris Ryauzov and his time", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the famous Krasnoyarsk painter.
The exhibition presents paintings and documentary photographs that reveal the facts of the biography and the stages of the artist’s career in the second half of his life from 1947 to 1994. The exposition includes more than 40 works from collections of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum of Local Lore, the Museum of the Artist Boris Ryauzov and from private collections.
The picturesque “series” will unfold textbook themes for Ryauzov’s work: the Turukhanskaya and Shushenskaya series will reveal the theme of historical places in Siberia, the poetic and philosophical northern landscape will represent the power of the North, and the recognizable landscapes of Krasnoyarsk will mark the cycle written for the city’s anniversary.
