Art means everything!

The Boymans van Böningen Museum holds an exhibition“Art means everything!”.

The exposition presents several dozen paintings and sculptures of the best representatives of modern expressionism, including Karel Appel, Hendrick Chabot, Kees van Dongen, James Ensor, Willem de Kooning, Hermann Kruider, Claude Monet, Edward Munch, Pablo Picasso, Charlie Thorop, Theo Wolvkamp and Osip Zadkine.

Together, the works presented provide a fresh look at expressionism in the Netherlands and beyond, with its unique 20th-century works by Monet, Munch and Picasso. The exhibition presents the forerunners of expressionism, flourishing work, as well as important post-war works.
