Vanguard in Montreal
Exhibition July 19 − September 12, 2020
Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) organizes an exhibition"Vanguard in Montreal".
The exposition will comprise more than 60 works from the collections of the three largest private galleries in Canada: Galerie Elena Lee, Galerie Jocelyne Gobeil, Galerie Barbara Silverberg Contemporary Ceramics.
Viewers will see the work of avant-garde artists of the 20th century in the genres of sculptural and conceptual works, glassware, ceramics, precious stones and metals. Thanks to the talent and conceptual personality of the authors, these genres have become recognized independent directions in the visual arts.
