Beruete, Rigoios and landscapes

Bilbao Museum of Fine Arts invites you to visit the exhibition"Beruete, Rigoios and landscapes".
The exhibition presents a large collection of landscape paintings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, collected by collectors Jose Ibarra and Santiago Perez in the 1940s-1970s. Viewers will be able to see more than 70 paintings by the best landscape painters of the period 1890-1920.
For the first time, the exhibition will present a large selection of works by the Spanish impressionist Aureliano de Beruete, as well as canvases by Dario de Rigoios, Agustin Riancho, Francisco Gimeno, Santiago Rusiñol and Joaquin Sorolla, incl. several paintings from the collection of the Prado Museum.
