Museum of Art São Paulo (MASP) organizes an exhibition"Collection-transformer"
The unique exposition includes masterpieces of painting, icon painting and sculpture of the 17th-20th centuries, installed in glass blocks on concrete slabs. "Crystal easels" designed byLinoy Bo Bardi
(1914-1992) - also by the author of the construction project - were first introduced in 1968.
The original idea of Lina Bo Bardi was that the first meeting of the visitor with the works of art was more direct, free, introducing information about the author, title and date. Easels are located in a huge space without partitions, and visitors can walk between works that seem to "float in space", study their back side.
