Galeries Bayy, Geneva hosts an exhibition
“Pablo Picasso. Faces ".
Visitors will be able to see dozens of drawings and ceramics of the great Spaniard who became "
most expensive artist in the world".
From his first visit to Vallauris, also known as "the city of a hundred potters", Pablo Picasso was fascinated by the freedom and expressiveness of ceramics. The restless artist began collaborating with Remier, founder of the Madoura atelier, in 1947 for over 20 years. By exploring new techniques, the artist reincarnated his most iconic images, such as fauns or simplistic faces, creating a wonderful universe of shapes and textures.
