Arken Museum of Contemporary Art hosts a vibrant and spectacular exhibition"Animals in Art".
Visitors will see the work of 34 artists from all over the world, whose work is a tribute to the amazing animals and a signal of alarm about their future.
From giant paintings by Martin Eder to the nostalgic album of Annika Eriksson, animals are everywhere: myths, fables, fairy tales, religious teachings ... Authors, incl. and artists, not only endow animals with human features, but also tell people about their own history. The exhibition features works by Corey Arcangela,Jonah Baldessari, Richard Burns, Pascal Bernier, Sophie Calle, Mircea Cantor, Maurizio Cattelana, Mark Dion, Natalie Jurberg, etc., among the authors - Hans Berg, Martin Eder, Michael Elmgreen & amp; Ingar Dragset, Annika Eriksson, Daniel Firman, Laura Ford, Douglas Gordon, Damien Hirst, Peter Holst Henkel, Camilla Henroth, Candida Höfer, Carsten Höller, Bharti Kher, Paul McCarthy, Kohey Nava, Rivan Neuvenschvio Navaj, amp ; Sue Webster, Patricia Piccinini, Paola Peavy, David Shrigley, Lisa Strömbeck and William Wegman.
