The British Museum holds a large exhibition
"Assertive paper: modern drawing from 1970 to the present day".
The exposition consists of 56 works covering a wide variety of topics and demonstrating the amazing variety of contemporary drawings over the past 50 years. The exhibition features graphic works by artists such as David Hockney, Rachel Whiteread, Saul Levitt, Anish Kapoor, Tracey Emin, Grayson Perry, Hamid Suleiman, Rachel Duckhouse and others.
Among the oldest forms of human creativity, drawing is gaining popularity again, as artists increasingly choose this form of visual art as a means of studying the modern world.
