Boijmans van Beuningen Museum and World Museum, Rotterdam present a large exhibition
Remix - Rotterdam. Boymans and the World ".
The exposition consists of more than 120 masterpieces of painting and sculpture from the collection of two museums.
The exhibition halls display works of art from all over the world and from various eras: from the Middle Ages to the present day. For example, the works of Jean Michel Basquiat (1960–1988) and Gordon Bennett (1955–2014) are collected for the first time in one exhibition. The compositional unification of masterpieces of various masters and styles tells the story of human existence: social interaction, love and hate, strength and transience, the desire for understanding - grandiose and convincing, but at the same time inadequate and useless.
