The Cincinnati Museum of Art is hosting the exhibition Women Breaking Down Borders.
The exposition presents paintings, drawings, graphics, photographs, samples of ceramics and arts and crafts by women authors. The works are dated from the beginning of the 17th century to the present day. The exhibits include works by Helen Frankenthaler, Mary Cassatt, Elizabeth Cutlett, Eleanor Antin, Zanele Muholi, Anna Palakunnathu Matthew, Kiki Smith, Julie Mehretu, Corita Kent and Reya Kawakubo.
Explore the role of women in art and art history at the Cincinnati Art Museum with artwork from the museum's permanent collection. The exhibition encourages visitors to critique gender, representativeness and diversity, and how this is reflected in the museum's collecting practices and galleries.
