Western Building and Light Architecture: European Art
Exhibition October 3, 2020 − February 7, 2021
North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA) hosts an exhibition "Western Building and Light Architecture: European Art".
The exposition is timed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Western building of the museum, which became a breakthrough project of the famous company Phifer Thomas Phifer and Partners and was awarded for architectural achievements.
The concept of the exhibition is to gracefully and safely accommodate works of art created over the past two millennia from the museum's collection in galleries flooded with ever-changing daylight. 10 years after opening to the public in 2010, the West Building has taken its place among North Carolina's great buildings.
